Inception
Starting with humble beginnings and a vision to become a household name to small and medium sized companies in the Philippines, was how MorfeCeneta& Co., CPAs (MCC) began. Caught up by the 2008 global economic crisis that affected Companies, Grace Morfe thought that with her decade of meaningful experience in the auditing, accounting, tax and corporate services, they could make their business by helping their clients grow.
Growth
Morfe Ceneta & Co., CPAs started with two CPAs, a part-time receptionist and a part-time IT employee in their 35 sqm office Alabang. Since then, there has been plenty of growth for the company from bigger office area to 35 team members.
They started with auditing and accounting services and eventually expanded to tax, corporate services, payroll, compliance, and treasury. They have also collaborated with both local and multinational firms across different continents, establishing their global minded approach in their work.
MCC is accredited with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Board of Accountancy (BOA), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), and National Privacy Commission (NPC). All of the accreditations with different government agencies are a testament to MCC’s commitment to compliance with the regulatory requirement of the government as well as to delivering work with the utmost care and diligence to their clients.
New Heights
In 2020, MCC achieved a milestone by becoming accredited by the Geneva Group International (GGI), a worldwide alliance of well-established and experienced accounting, consulting, and law firms which are all brought together by a shared commitment to providing clients with specialized solutions that meet international business requirements.
Despite such growth, MCC is cemented by its same core values that have helped it get to where it is today. With every client, they provide with the utmost care and due diligence as MCC is committed to excellence, reliability, dependability, integrity, professionalism, and a proactive approach.
